Specific Issues for Discussion
We initiated a project where the community is empowered to identify accurate facts related to health and nutrition. During the project, we faced many unexpected issues including diverse opinions expressed by health care professionals and separating scientifically validated facts from politically corrected facts, how the people take the message. After the project, we realized that this is not a simple but a very complex issue. Therefore, the long-term solution is to empower the youth. This can't be done by school teachers and others since they have already trapped into believing the false information. In this session, we would like to share our experience and also would like to learn from others. Based on the feedback, we would like to develop lessons for school children.
